Trevor Carlin, owner of Carlin Motorsport and the responsible for Tiago Monteiro debut in Formula 1 says “I am very proud of Tiago and his first season”
In a interview to the portuguese site Sportmotores.com Carlin said: Tiago has done a fantastic work, he only didn’t finished one race and made everything that was possible, considering the car.
The British assures that Tiago Monteiro has the quality necessary to score more points, needing only a more competitive car to explore his potentialities to the maximum.
He is very professional, always drives very close to the limit and with security. If he has a more competitive car, he will achieve better results and conquer more points, Tiago is super professional.
In spite of all the compliments to the “Rookie of the Year” the english has already come to public saying that Midland – former Jordan – will stay at the back of grid next season.
