BMW-Sauber racer Robert Kubica has backed Timo Glock’s quest for a test role at the German squad in 2007.

24-year-old Glock made his debut for the Hinwil based team at Barcelona last week, amid suggestions that a testing slot alongside Friday driver Sebastian Vettel might still be open.

“Timo would be a good man for us,” Poland’s Kubica told the Swiss newspaper Blick.
