‘No hurry’ on Red Bull’s 2007 lineup

There is plenty of interest in Red Bull’s second racing seat for 2007, according to team principal Christian Horner.

With either David Coulthard or Christian Klien set to make way for a higher profile driver, the British chief outlined that the energy drink-owned team does not feel under pressure to make a decision any time soon.

Horner’s comments are possibly in reaction to Scot Coulthard’s insistence that Red Bull ‘act now’ to snap him up.

”We are in a reasonable position,” Horner was quoted as saying by ‘motorline.cc’, ”because there are many drivers who would gladly sit in a car designed by Adrian Newey.”

He backed away from setting a strict timetable for a decision, but warned that any announcement is ‘at least a month’ away.

Horner said: ”Both David and Christian know that we are not in a hurry.” gmmf1dailyf1news.com
