Bavaria, the Netherlands’ second largest beer brewer, today announced its sponsorship of the sold-out A1GP World Cup of Motorsport Zandvoort race, which takes place this weekend.

As part of the deal, Bavaria will give the A1 Team Netherlands an additional boost with leading Dutch models acting as the official Grid Girls for this weekend’s action.

Chart-topping act, Dannii Minogue, is Bavaria’s official guest this weekend and is expected to attend the Sunday race event.

Peer Swinkels of Bavaria commented, “In A1GP, we see a willingness for adventure, daring and excitement. We are delighted to extend our partnership with A1GP following the great response of Dutch fans to the appearance of A1 Team Netherlands at last month’s Bavaria City Racing event in Rotterdam.”

Richard Dorfman, Executive Director of A1GP, added, “It is great that a leading Dutch company can recognise the value of being associated with a truly global event. More than 140 countries worldwide will see the Bavaria brand and the spirit of the Dutch fans through global TV coverage.”

Bavaria beer, brewed in the Netherlands, is distributed in more than 100 countries worldwide and has a long and established reputation of supporting motor racing.
