A1GP Beijing – Grid Positions

Sat, 11 November 2006, 03:54

With the cancellation of all four qualifying sessions, the grid for tomorrow’s sprint race will be determined by the fastest lap times set in today’s practice session. All A1 Teams will be given an extra session on track ahead of tomorrow’s sprint race to acclimatise themselves with the track.

The teams who failed to complete a sufficient number of laps laps to set a competitive time during the two red-flagged practice sessions were heavily disadvantaged. The usually competitive Team France, for instance, will start second-last.
