Alonso to McLaren: Fisi to benefit?

Renault driver Giancarlo Fisichella believes that Fernando Alonso’s early announcement of his move from Renault to McLaren for the 2007 season could benefit him.

“It could be good for me. Maybe the team will change the way it acts towards Fernando.” Fisichella told Autosport.

Fisichella won the Australian Grand Prix last year but the rest of the season was disastrous as he was plagued by bad luck and poor pace compared to his team mate.
