Axed grand prix venue Imola is refusing to give up hope of returning to the formula one calendar in the near future.
It is reported in Germany that the circuit, located 40 kilometres east of Bologna in Italy, has begun to search for a new manager for the ‘Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari’.
Imola apparently expects to install the new manager, to oversee the current modernisation of the ageing circuit’s facilities, around March.
“We are not dead yet,” Imola mayor Massimo Marchignoli insisted to the news agency ‘sid’.
