Former Formula 1 driver, Rubens Barrichello will start in three stock races in Brazil this year. 40-year old former Ferrari and Williams driver still hopes to return to Formula 1.
Barrichello didn`t find seat in Formula 1 this season and he spent it in IndyCar, where he was 12th. Now he will participate in Brazilian stock car series – 21th October in Curitiba, 11th November in Brasilia and 9th December in Sao Paulo at Interlagos. He announced that salary from that races will be donated for charity.
Barrichello was in F1 in 1993-2011 seasons and he drove 326 races with 11 wins and 68 podiums. His last team was Williams. He never said goodbye to Formula One and he still hopes for place in 2013. If he won`t find it, he will probably continue his IndyCar career.
