Ferrari shows that they are in good form at Catalunya
Michael Schumacher was on top of the standings again in the last F1 test day at Catalunya. In fact Ferrari was on top during the three test days. On Wednesday, Felipe Massa was the fastest; on Thursday, the seven-time world champion broke the Circuit’s unofficial record with his 1:13.471. And on Friday, Shumacher set the best time again with 1:14.119.
Second was BMW-Sauber test driver Robert Kubica (1:14.136). Kubica’s BMW F1.06 was only 17 thousandths behind the Ferrari 248F1. Giancarlo Fisichella’s Renault was third, with 1:14.504.
