BMW rejects Ralf rumour again

Mario Theissen has repeated his denial that formula one team BMW-Sauber would like to put Ralf Schumacher in a Hinwil-built car in the near future.

Although the German squad has already confirmed Robert Kubica alongside Nick Heidfeld for the 2007 season, speculation persists that team boss Theissen is keen to some day reunite Schumacher with BMW.

Ralf, 31, raced a BMW-powered Williams between 2000 and 2004.

Theissen dismissed the latest press reports by saying: “I can’t imagine the writer was having his readers on, so I guess somebody was having the writer on.”
