Changes in Renault and Mercedes

Two F1`s engines suppliers – Mercedes and Renault made quite import_ant changes in their authorities.

In Renault there is a new Director of Motorsport – Arnaud Boulanger replaced Jean Pascal Dauce who now will work as Alpine Caterham’s Engineering and Projects Vice President.

Frenchman has over twenty years of experience in Formula 1. He worked in Renault Sport and then as a chief of Bennetton`s test team. After that he headed up the Process Engineering and Reliability department.

Renault is currently supplier of engines for Caterham, Lotus and Red Bull.

Mercedes is giving their engines to McLaren and Mercedes GP. In this company Thomas Fuhr will be replaced by Andy Cowell on Head of engines seat in this German company.

Cowell earlier was Group’s engineering director in Mercedes.
