McLaren Third Driver, Pedro de la Rosa, has dominated first practice today at the China Grand Prix in Shanghai. De la Rosa has set a time of 1:33.463, just under two seconds clear of Rubens Barrichello, who is racing in his last for Ferrari this weekend.

It was encouraging session from the McLaren camp, with De la Rosa topping the charts, and Kimi Raikonnen and Juan Pablo Montoya setting the forth and sixth best times respectivly. This is looking good for the team who are two points behind Renault in the Constructors Championship leading up the last race in China this weekend, and are looking on pace to beat their close rivals. World Champion, Fernando Alonso, and Renault team mate, Giancarlo Fisichella, set the seventh and 16th best times for the session.
