Ron Dennis says he was not offended by former McLaren driver Kimi Raikkonen’s recent observation that he is a “control freak”.
Finn Raikkonen explained that in contrast with 59-year-old Dennis, Ferrari counterpart Jean Todt is a “completely normal guy”.
“I cannot imagine (Jean) getting too excited about trivial matters,” Kimi had told a Finnish newspaper.
Dennis reacted to PA Sport: “I smiled when I heard he said I was a control freak because I am — I don’t mind fine attention to detail.”
After five years at Mercedes powered McLaren failed to net him a drivers’ championship, Raikkonen switched to Ferrari for 2007.
