Doornbos back on track

Mon, 21 November 2005, 03:56

After a six week break from driving a Formula One car, Robert Doornbos is heading for Vallelunga the upcoming week to test the PS05 and to be the driver of numerous passagers in the two-seater. Next Tuesday Robert will continue his development duties for the Italian outfit which was recently purchased by Red Bull. On Wednesday, Bridgestone has reserved the 4.085 kilometer track near Rome and only a day later guests of Robert’s sponsor Muermans Group will enjoy the ride of their life with Robert as their driver.

Robert Doornbos: “It’s always good fun to drive the two-seater. Last year around this time I did my first laps in it during an event which Harry Muermans organised and of course I thrilled Zandvoort only last summer during the DTM event over there. Next to this I’ll also help the team with their development programm at Tuesday. I’m looking forward to get back behind the wheel again after being a couple of weeks ‘off-duty’!”
