Now we have your attention, we are pleased to announce something you had probably guessed already.

Red Bull Racing has confirmed today that 22-year-old Christian Klien will be its second driver for the 2006 season, when he will drive a Ferrari-powered RB2 alongside team-mate David Coulthard.

With David already confirmed as the team’s number one driver and Robert Doornbos confirmed as the team’s test driver, the announcement finalises the team’s line up for the start of the 2006 season.

Austrian driver Christian Klien said: ”It’s great that I’m going to be driving for Red Bull Racing again in 2006. Next year is really only the start for this team, I think it’s got a great future ahead of it and to be able to be part of that is really exciting. I’m definitely looking to improve next year and get more points. It’s good to continue working with David as well, I’m still a young driver and can learn a lot from him, although like every racing driver, I’m keen to beat my team-mate on the track.”
