First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, continuing to work at the Sakhir circuit, in Bahrain.
Both Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa were on track today, at the wheel of a 248 F1 and an F2004 fitted with a regulated power version of the V10 engine respectively. The day’s programme called for set-up and tyre testing for Michael and electronics and tyre work for Felipe.
The day was not without technical problems for Michael, who only managed to complete 49 laps, the quickest in a time of 1’31”390. As for Felipe, he covered 124 laps, setting a best time of 1’30”410.
Testing continues at this circuit tomorrow when once again, Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa will be on track.
