Ferrari to launch 2010 car on January 28

Jan.13 (GMM) From Marlboro’s Madonna di Campiglio winter media event on Wednesday, Ferrari announced that its 2010 car will be launched on January 28.

The unveiling, to take place probably at the Italian team’s Maranello headquarters, will occur four days before the single seater is tested for the first time at the Valencia group test.

With the project earlier internally referred to as 661, the 2010 car is expected to be officially called 281.

It also emerges from the winter event in the Italian Dolomites that F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone is set to arrive, as he did a year ago.

He is expected to meet for talks with another expected arrival, Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo.
