Rumours that Giancarlo Fisichella is thinking about retirement after the ’07 season have been flatly denied by the Italian. Though he denied even hearing the rumour, he admitted to the “Autosprint” magazine that he has begun to think about his future beyond F1. Says Fisico: ”I’ll be 33 in January and I hope to carry on racing as long as possible, at least until I’m 40. I’d really like to race in the Le Mans 24 Hours, a unique race. ‘I don’t think, however, that I’d ever go racing for a season on ovals (in America).”
