Timo Glock, who is in contention for a number of F1 test seats for 2007, is scheduled to test a BMW-Sauber in December.

The GP2 driver, 24, was due to join the German team at a recent session but had to call it off with a hand injury.

German Glock, a race and test driver for Jordan in 2004, has also been linked with test seats at Williams and Honda for 2007, but the most solid connection remains with BMW, for whom he had a seat fitting at the Hinwil factory last month.

According to Auto Bild, the former Champ Car racer’s manager Hans Bernd Kamps confirmed his December test, and said negotiations were taking place for a full time BMW test role in 2007.

BMW may be reluctant to further invest in the career of current ‘Friday’ driver Sebastian Vettel, as the teenager has a long term contract with Red Bull.
