Lewis Hamilton’s formula one career may soon be guided by a professional manager, according to speculation.

The McLaren’s driver’s current manager, his father Anthony Hamilton, was on Sunday spotted in deep conversation at the Silverstone circuit with renowned F1 manager Julian Jakobi.

Jakobi, who also worked with Juan Pablo Montoya, is famous for having simultaneously managed Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna.

The Hamilton camp reportedly denied the rumour.

Anthony Hamilton said in May: “I haven’t met an agent who can offer us anything we can’t do ourselves.”
