Lewis Hamilton sets the pace in the final free practise at Shakir circuit in Bahrain. The McLaren driver was just q fraction of a second quicker than Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen. BMW Sauber’s Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica followed at a very short distance.
Temperatures already reaching 30 degrees Celsius this morning.
Ferrari’s Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen had both “small moments” when they made small mistakes and went of the circuits. Both drivers escaped and could easily return to the track without any damage.
