It is understood that Japanese talent Kamui Kobayashi may test Toyota’s formula one car in the very near future.
The 20-year-old F3 driver, who is part of the Cologne based F1 team’s ‘Young Drivers Programme’, will reportedly get his debut run when testing resumes later this month in Barcelona. Kobayashi, who lives in Paris, may also test again at Jerez next month.
He was F3 Euroseries’ rookie of 2006.
