Jacques Villeneuve has denied that the radical ‘twin tower’ bodywork on the front of his BMW-Sauber could impede his vision this weekend at Magny Cours.
The French Canadian was one of only a handful of race drivers who did flying laps in opening practice, and he rejected suggestions that the 50 centimetre towers could be a danger.
”They don’t impact on visibility,” said the Canadian.
‘Friday’ driver Kubica, quickest of the sixteen runners on track, added: ”In terms of visibility there is no problem at all.”
