Test driver Heikki Kovalainen returned to the wheel of his Renault last Friday after sitting out Thursday’s test day at Jerez with a stomach bug.
The 25-year-old Finn, to graduate to the race seat for 2007, will be back in action this week at Silverstone as formula one teams test for the last time during the 2006 race calendar.
