Robert Kubica after his another rally in WRC still wants to come back to F1 but for now he is focusing on gaining experience which is necessary to compete for highest results in WRC.
After tremendous start of the season with two SS victories in Monte Carlo Rally, Kubica scored dissapoiting rally in Sweden where he was 24th with three big off-road visits.
Kubica`s boss, Malcolm Wilson, said to official M-Sport website that he expected that very tough conditions in this year`s Rally Sweden wouldn’t suit Pole but he thinks that next rally – in Mexico – will be better for former BMW Sauber and Renault driver.
Kubica is still pushing to come back to F1 and he always underlines that. Last time in interview with FIA magazine which is quoted by Polish motorsport journalist, Cezary Gutowski:
“I`ll do everything to come back to F1 but I have to be realistic. I won`t say anything new – I know what my limitations are and I more or less know what I need to increase my chances and until there is chance to come back, I will stick to it.
“I could drive F1 car on some circuits, I could do a test, do more things in F1 but until I have some limitations, which don`t let me to drive full season, I don`t want to do this. I remember how I felt after DTM test. It was a good test, I had a lot of fun but after such test you expect something more, you want to achieve more, but some things are out of our control” – said Kubica.
Pole is now fucusing on his WRC career and he still thinks that he is a lucky man because he can do what he loves.
