Willi Weber has just celebrated his sixty fifth birthday, but Michael Schumacher’s long time manager says he is not yet ready to retire.

“No, I still need the action of racing,” German Weber told the news agency ‘dpa’ when he was asked if he would follow his charge through the paddock gates.

Weber, who runs a team in the A1 GP category and plans to put young star Nico Hulkenberg on the grand prix grid within the next few years, joked: “I plan to start my retirement when I am 90 and then live until I am 120!”

Schumacher, 38, was a guest on Sunday as Weber celebrated his birthday in Stuttgart.
