FIA confirmed that former world champion, Nigel Mansell will be the FIA steward on duty at this week`s Grand Prix of United States.
Mansell contested 191 grand prix’. He won 31 times and was 28 times on podium with Williams and Ferrari. He has also achieved 32 pole positions. In 1992 he won a championship title.
Mansell is one of the drivers with most counts of appearances as a FIA steward.
Alongside Mansell in FIA panel will sit Paul Gutjahr – President of the Swiss Motorsport Federation and the FIA Hill Climb Commission and José Abed – the FIA Vice-President.
