McLaren fury at thief cleaners

Bosses of British formula one team McLaren were reportedly furious after two factory cleaners sold up to $20,000 worth of stolen memorabilia on eBay.

Tabloid daily newspaper ‘The Sun’ reports that the pair, who were contract cleaners at the Mercedes-powered squad’s impressive Woking factory, were released by police after being arrested for stealing McLaren clothes, flags and $380 F1 models and selling them on the auction website.

Surrey police revealed that a McLaren worker gave the cleaners the products.

”(That) member of staff no longer works for McLaren,” police added.
