In the third day of testing at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo this week, Team McLaren Mercedes drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya covered over 480km between them in two MP4-21s.

The programme for both drivers focused on specific set-up work and component proving for the first three races of the 2006 Formula One season, in Bahrain, Malaysia and Australia. Kimi and Juan both spent the day completing short runs.

Juan Pablo put in the second fastest time of the day, a 1m10.665, over the course of 50 laps. Team-mate Kimi completed 71 laps of the Spanish track and set a quickest time of 1m11.174, which put him in fourth position on the timesheets.

Pedro will return to the test tomorrow to run alongside Kimi in the second MP4-21, for the final day of this weeks test.
