Life just keeps getting better for David Richards and his Prodrive dynasty, this time it’s his Australian V8 Supercar Ford factory team that’s causing the smiles. Lead driver Jason Bright has secured Pole position at the Winton Raceway (Victoria) round this weekend. The team had been fastest Qualifier and took this form forward into the “Top Ten“ shootout were he secured the pole. The second team car of Mark Winterbottom qualified 10th in the 30 car field.
Former F1 Testers Brazilian Max Wilson (WPS racing) and James Courtney (Stone Brothers Racing)qualified in what can only be described as disappointing positions 18th and 19th respectively.
