Kimi Raikkonen, to switch from McLaren to Ferrari, has revealed that he also had ‘different possibilities’ for 2007.
“If I had not decided to go to Ferrari,” the 27-year-old told ’20Minuten.ch’ from his home in Switzerland, “then I would have had different possibilities.
“I know Ferrari a little of course, but you never know what is going to happen in the future. I haven’t done anything yet.”
Raikkonen added that he would ‘gladly’ make his test debut for the Maranello based team before Christmas, but at present he has not secured a release from his McLaren-Mercedes contract.
At home near Zurich, meanwhile, he said he was enjoying the ‘peace’ in some picturesque surroundings of some time off.
Raikkonen said: “Here, it is easy to relax.”
