There was 112 overtaking maneuvers in this year`s Brazil Grand Prix what is a new Formula One all-time record.
Race on Interlagos was the last one of 2012 Formula One season. Nevertheless it was decisive in championship title battle. It was also special thanks to another matter – overtaking maneuvers.
Thanks to DRS system and changing weather in Brazil, during whole race there was 112 overtakes, what is a new Formula 1 record.
Previous best score was from Canadian Grand Prix 2011, where there was “only” 89 overtakes. This year in China there was 72 maneuvers. Only 9 times drivers overtook rivals in Monaco.
