Red Bull Racing will launch its 2007 car, the RB3, at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya on 26 January.
In an elaborate media communique on Wednesday, the Austrian squad announced the news by emailing to media representatives a phone number to reach the car’s designer, Adrian Newey.
In a recorded telephone message, Briton Newey revealed the date and location for the launch and concluded by saying: “I look forward to seeing you then. Thanks, bye.”
The RB3 is one of the most eagerly awaited launches on the calendar, as everyone waits to see the first non-McLaren, Newey designed car in a decade.
