A Renault official has played down reports that a wheel gun mechanic was removed from Fernando Alonso pit stop crew after crucially dropping a nut last weekend in Shanghai.
”People should realise that we have made nineteen changes to our pit stop organisation this year,” sporting manager Steve Nielsen said at Suzuka.
”It is a normal process.”
