Tiago Monteiro impressed many people up and down pitlane in his debut Formula One season this year, and it has now come to light that he impressed fans worldwide as well with F1 Racing readers voting the Portuguese driver as their ‘Rookie of the Year’.
In the November issue of the magazine Tiago recorded a 28.2 percent of the votes (+40,000) and finished way ahead of fellow rookies, Narain Karthikeyan, who was his teammate at the Jordan Grand Prix team, and Red Bull Racing’s third driver/race driver, Vitantonio Liuzzi.
Autosport is conducting a similar poll and it is expected that Tiago will wipe the board in the Formula One division there as well. To make your voice head you can vote here…
