That is the belief of Jean Alesi, who drove for Ferrari between 1991 and 1995, winning once.
The 42-year-old Frenchman told the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport: “I know that many people say that Michael could have gone on for ever, but there are also more and more people who believe he is getting too old.
“Me? I think he chose the perfect moment.”
