Schu worried that Fisi could block him

Michael Schumacher has singled out Fernando Alonso’s Renault teammate, Giancarlo Fisichella, as a possible road block to victory in Sunday’s Spanish grand prix.

The German, eyeing a hat track of victories in Barcelona, is disappointed to have qualified behind Rome’s Fisichella because it gives Renault a handy chess piece for the race.

”You can see that he is fast compared to Fernando here,” Ferrari’s 37-year-old, third on the grid while title leader Alonso is on pole, told reporters after qualifying.

Schumacher said: ”If I am behind him tomorrow and he suddenly drives a lot slower, then it could be a problem. So hopefully I can get in front of him at the start.

”If Fisichella drives slowly then it could have a large influence on the result of the race.”gmmf1 dailyf1news.com
