Schumacher still silent about future

Even in the face of new speculation, Michael Schumacher has vowed to keep quiet about his future in F1 beyond 2006.

At the Nurburgring on Thursday, fresh from racing Ferrari team colleagues at his own go-kart track in Kerpen, he told reporters: ”You have to wait.”

Pushed to at least respond to the latest rumours, such as the possibility of a new two-year contract to 2008, the German insisted: ”If I say there is nothing new to say, then there is nothing.”

37-year-old Schumacher insisted: ”You can ask ten times if you like, but the answer is always going to be the same.”
