Jan.11 (GMM) Michael Schumacher will this week shift his return to formula one into a higher gear.
Reports in Blick (Switzerland) and Bild (Germany) reveal that, amid the current F1 testing ban, the 41-year-old will drive a GP2 car at the Jerez circuit in Spain.
The test, reportedly approved by the governing FIA, is reportedly scheduled to take place between Tuesday and Thursday.
Bild said the GP2 car is being provided by the British team Super Nova.
