Second day of testing for Ferrari

Second day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working at the Sakhir circuit, in Bahrain.

Once again today the two test drivers, Luca Badoer and Marc Gene, worked on defining the best set-up for the cars at their disposal. Working respectively at the wheel of a modified F2005 and a F2004 with a V8 engine, the two drivers carried out a programme centred on the the development of the new engine, in collaboration with Shell, as well as a tyre programme taking into account the rule changes for the nexr season.

A total of 173 laps was completed: 87 for Gené, 86 for Badoer. Marc set the fastest time of the day in 1.34.807, while Luca’s best performance was a 1.35.477. Badoer and Gené continue testing here tomorrow.
