A couple of notable names appeared at this week’s official GP2 test at the Paul Ricard venue in France.
Having recently targeted reaching the formula one grid by 2009, Bruno Senna – the nephew of F1’s late famous triple world champion – circulated for Arden.
The Arden team is owned by Red Bull’s F1 principal Christian Horner, therefore strengthening the existing link between 22-year-old Senna and Ayrton’s former McLaren teammate Gerhard Berger.
Berger co-owns the sister Red Bull team, Toro Rosso.
Also lapping at Paul Ricard – for Giancarlo Fisichella’s ‘FMS’ GP2 squad – was Antonio Pizzonia, who contested 19 grands prix in 2003-2005.
