The Dutch formula one team Spyker on Thursday unveiled not one but two title sponsors.
At a news conference and car unveiling at Albert Park, the Silverstone based squad said Arab airline Etihad, alongside Abu Dhabi property developer Aldar, would jointly sponsor the team for three years starting with Sunday’s Australian grand prix.
Spyker, with both companies’ logos featured prominently on the orange car, will in 2007 be known officially as ‘Etihad Aldar Spyker Formula One Team’.
Spyker, who showed the car to the assembled press out the back of the team garage in Australia, was already linked with Abu Dhabi via the government owned Mubadala company; a shareholder in the team.
