Spyker to launch 2007 car on 5 February

Dutch squad Spyker will launch its so-far unnamed 2007 car on 5 February, it has emerged.

The country’s specialist press, including the magazine Formule 1 RaceReport, gathered this week in the Swiss skiing village of Gstaad for a media event, where the information broke.

It is suggested that the Silverstone built car, whose official designation has not yet been revealed, will probably appear in 2007 in an even more significantly orange livery, following the acquisition of the team from Midland last season.

The launch on 5 February will take place at Spyker’s F1 factory in England, with confirmed drivers Christijan Albers and Adrian Sutil to start testing the machine at Silverstone in the days after.
