Spyker to skip Sepang test

Dutch formula one team Spyker has decided to skip next week’s three day test at Sepang.

Although the session is scheduled to plug the logistically troublesome three week gap between the first flyaway rounds of 2007, Spyker will be the only team not running at the venue for the Malaysian GP.

Team sources reported that Silverstone based Spyker, although shipping all the equipment and cars straight from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur, have elected to focus on preparations from their UK base.

Alongside Spyker, Williams sat out the offshore pre-season test in Bahrain but Sir Frank Williams’ Toyota-powered team will be present at the Sepang session.
