Spyker’s Kolles vows to wave black flag

Colin Kolles has vowed to wave a black flag at Spyker’s back-of-the-grid rivals Toro Rosso and Super Aguri over the thorny customer car row.

At the launch of the Dutch squad’s 2007 car at Silverstone, Kolles confirmed speculation that in Melbourne for the first round of the season Spyker may seek a court injunction to prevent the controversial teams from racing at Albert Park.

“If we don’t like the cars then for sure (we would),” the Romanian said.

Suspicion about the plans of Super Aguri and Toro Rosso have only increased now that they are the only outfits yet to reveal their cars for this year.

Their disgruntled rivals, apparently also involving Bernie Ecclestone’s input, are reportedly now working on brokering a compromise — such as by barring Super Aguri and Toro Rosso from scoring constructors’ points or by foregoing their share of TV revenue.
