Super Aguri’s Mark Preston has been promoted to the role of technical director, the Japanese team announced on Friday.
”Mark takes up his new position with immediate effect,” said a statement, referring to the Australian engineer who previously was chief technical officer and attends all races and tests.
The Leafield based outfit also revealed the promotion of Graham Taylor, formerly chief race engineer, to the role of sporting director.
BMW-Sauber, meanwhile, confirmed in a statement speculation that recent ‘Friday’ Sebastian Vettel will retain the seat for the final three races of 2006.
