Mar.18 (GMM) Force India driver Adrian Sutil on Wednesday admitted he is unsure formula one should introduce a voluntary budget cap for small teams next year
The FIA’s new regime is designed to aid and safeguard independent outfits like his Silverstone based employer, but German Sutil, 26, admitted he is uncomfortable with constant rules changes
“I have the feeling that a lot of things constantly change. In the past years there were always new things,” he said in an interview with the German broadcaster RTL
F1’s governing body has also imposed an immediate change to the points system for 2009, guaranteeing the winner of the most races the drivers’ title
Sutil said: “It seems to me as if they’re desperately trying to make formula one always more interesting and more spectacular
“Perhaps they should simply leave everything how it is so that the spectators can get used to everything.”nnThe German driver’s latter point is also former grand prix driver Christian Danner’s criticism of the voluntary budget cap for 2010
“Having two different sets of regulations in place at the same time will be problematic not only for the authorities, but also for the spectators,” he told Germany’s SID news agency
