F1’s arguably best-funded team could be among the very backmarkers in the early races of 2007.
That is the claim of Spyker rookie Adrian Sutil, who is expecting to battle with small teams such as Super Aguri and Toro Rosso in 2007.
But in an interview with Sport-Informations-Dienst (sid), the 24-year-old German said: “Perhaps a works team such as Toyota will also be our opponents.
“Things don’t seem to be going so well at Toyota at the moment.”
Sutil admitted that finishing in the points is a target “for the end of the year” for Spyker, the Dutch outfit.
