During this week`s Chinese Grand Prix drivers will be allowed to use DRS system in two zones – exactly how it was last year.
Since 2013 on Shanghai International Circuit there are two DRS zones – in 2011 and 2012 there was only one. Points of two zones didn`t change in comparison to last year.
First zone will be placed on the start/finish straight with a detection zone just before last corner. Second zone will be activated on the long straight between corners 13 and 14 with detection point in turn 12. This may mean, that for drivers it will be better to wait with overtaking for second DRS zone after which overtaken driver won`t be able to use DRS to regain his position.
