Former grand prix driver Jos Verstappen this week showed off a 1997 formula one car on the ‘A74’ highway near the Dutch city of Roermond.
The popular 34-year-old piloted a familiar Tyrrell-Cosworth 025, with which he failed to score a point in the world championship ten years ago.
Verstappen’s demonstration was to promote Euro Racing Limburg, where some 100,000 spectators are expected to congregate for the motor racing show in mid June this year.
In a Minardi, the Dutchman contested the last of his 107 career grands prix in 2003.
